Are you on the hunt for some cute baby tights?
And more to the point, is it even worth having a baby girl if you’re not going to dress her up in tights?!
Ok, technically yes, it’s still worth it.
That being said, tights really up the level of adorableness (and coziness!) and it would be foolish not to do yourself and your baby a solid and grab some cute leggings.
Why Baby Tights?
Baby tights are comfortable, adorable, and a great addition to a winter wardrobe for your baby. They’re like pants but better because they have built in feet.
And who doesn’t like built-in feet?
Fools, that’s who. If I could live in footie pajamas I would. But since I’m beholden to “social norms” I can’t quite make that look work. The least I can do is grab my baby some tights and let her live in her full glory.
Cutest Baby Tights
Here are some of the top rated, cutest baby tights available on Amazon. I’m sure you can also cruise your local mall and find some tights, which has the benefit of giving you access to the Food Court.
But really Amazon is easier. It’s true that if you order tights online you won’t get to go to the Food Court, but you also won’t have to load up your children into the car for an errand, so….
Made of 80% cotton, these tights are soft and breathable. The material is thick enough to help keep your baby warm, and sizes run from newborn up through 12 months. Tights are available in a 5 pack (black, gray, pink, purple and white). Given how often babies pee through their diapers, I’d say a 5 pack is just about the right amount to have on standby.
Tights are made of premium fabric, 75% cotton, 23% nylon and 2% lycra spandex. You can select between a 2 pack with ruffle lace on the back, or a 3 pack of waffle design tights. 4 sizes available from newborn to toddler (ages 3-4).
As a bonus, I enjoy that the name of these tights includes the word “waffle.” I could use a waffle right now myself.
These tights feature organic cotton blended with nylon and spandex. Century Star baby tights are a thick fabric, perfect for under a dress or even under pants for extra warmth in the winter.
The Wewink tights are an Amazon’s Choice selection, with a 4.5 star average rating. The tights come in a 3 pack “with different styles for all weather and seasons.” Not that I plan to, say, send my small baby out into the elements in just a pair of tights, but I suppose it’s nice to know that she’s ruggedly prepared for whatever mother nature wants to throw at her.
I love these adorable designs! They have a little bit of extra pep, huh? The Cotton Day tights stand out due to their bright colors and cute patterns, which have quite a different look than most of the other tights (which generally come in solid colors).
These tights are available in newborn, infant, and toddler sizes. They come 6 in a pack, and parents like the fact that they don’t slide down. These would look really cute under a little dress!
I’m really not sure what’s happening with the posing of the merchandise here. I think the stylist for Jefferies Socks must have gone rogue with this “Cannonball!” situation. Styling aside, these tights have a 5 Star rating and are “Amazon’s Choice”, which sounds a lot like the “People’s Choice” award.
You can order them in sizes 6-18 months or 18-24 months. I myself might like a pair, but since I’m way larger than a two-year old and can’t even do a Cannonball in my swimsuit, I probably won’t be buying a pair for myself. I’ll just stick with a pair for my baby girl.
If you have a preemie it can be a bit tougher to find a good pair of tights. Here’s a cozy preemie tights option for babies as little as 3.5 lbs.
And there we have it! Let’s grab some baby leggings and get cozy.
