Many, many of you have asked me what Nolan was wearing for the Oscars. Ok, maybe not technically “many” of you. Alright fine, none of you.
However, Nolan was super excited about his outfit and insisted I show you some behind the scenes shots of Oscar night. He also wanted you to know “who” he was wearing (Bunnies By the Bay).
Without further ado…
Taking a pre-Oscars tubby with his friend Aaron
And then slipping into his red carpet look…
Checking for paparazzi…
Taken down by a rogue sneeze. He does not let this shake his confidence.
Nolan is trying to decide if he should be wearing a girdle. This was a hard call, but ultimately he determined that it was time for Hollywood to embrace a more natural look. Many found this choice to be “commendable” and “groundbreaking.”
Channeling Anne Hathaway in Les Miserables…
Gal pal Annie joined Nolan at the pre-party. She asked to borrow his outfit and he conceded, because “This is an outfit that deserves to be worn by a beautiful lady baby” (Nolan’s words)
Nolan thought it would be “edgy” to pair his tutu with a Superman onesie for the after party. Bold choice, Nolan.
Thanks Bunnies by the Bay for this outfit (skirt and matching headband)! Guys, it is ADORABLE! And we are giving it away to a reader. If you would like a chance to win this outfit (it’s size 12 months, although it fits 16 month-old Nolan), leave a comment (any comment!) on the blog post, and make sure you’re a subscriber. I’ll be randomly selecting a winner from that pool. If you don’t have a baby girl (or baby boy you want to dress as a baby girl) it would make a great gift. Seriously, it’s the bomb. And if you celebrate Easter, this would be a real show-stopper paired with a basket of eggs.

Nolan is so stinking cute!!!

Well I have two little boys but my brother and sister-in-law are having their second girl this year so I would love to pass it along to them!
Karen
Never seen Nolan look better!
Our little lady on the way would LOVE these threads!
Andrea
there will be a cat fight for this between Benny and Izzy

If you win maybe one can have the tutu and the other can have the headband. Although let’s be honest, the tutu is the real prize.
Mer
This is great, and the pictures are exactly what I needed to cheer me up after the treacherous drive to/back from daycare dropoff this morning! I love the Superman / pink skirt combo – very avant-garde!
Liz
Mer I wasn’t even thinking about it being avant-garde but YES. That is exactly what it is. It seems like we’re even more fashionable over here than we mean to be.
Erin
Long time reader, first time commenter. Gimme that tutu! Ahem. I mean, Nolan’s adorable. I’d like to enter the drawing for the tutu please. Thanks.
Liz
Ha! Erin, I like this balls to the walls approach. I’m drawing the winner tonight! May the force of Bunnies by the Bay be with you.

So cute! My baby girl would love to have a tutu to match her big sis (who prefers dinosaur and truck clothes most days of the week but insists on tutus on Fridays…)
Liz
I love it. So many children these days succumb to the cultural norm of dress down Fridays. I’m glad to see your girl is taking her own stance on this 🙂

I appreciate that my sweet little grandson enjoys Your “outfits”. We’ll need to go back to your own costume bag and see what we can pullout. If there is an issue tell him Grandma will save him……or make him a new one.

My personal favorite is the “rogue sneeze”. He pulls it off so well! & if it helps my chances of whinning this adorable tutu and headband….this would be a gift for a very special little girl who happens to be my niece. 😉

(& apparently I need to learn how to spell, lol)

Very sweet outfit 🙂
@/$/$÷ <—-my 9mo old daughter took a nursing break to type that. She says, "it's to nolan. He'll know what it means. "
Liz
Ha! I love this! Nolan wanted to respond to your daughter: “&*#$#*$Q#”
(I’ll be monitoring his future correspondence).
